Does anybody remember this terrible cartoon? I don't know
why I used to watch this but here it is!
The themesong is still stuck in my head. I don't remember
the words, but I do remember the melody. The cartoon had
something to do with Punky getting some sort of magical creature
that could grant wishes or something. It was pretty silly.
Punky Brewster: Where is Punky Brewster?
Where is little Punky Brewster? She
was an abandonded little kid named Penelope "Punky" Brewster.
Punky and her dog, Brandon, get adopted by a grumpy old man named Henry Warnimont and an 84'-88' show is born!

Penelope "Punky" Brewster was played by a great little actress named Soleil Moon Frye.
Yeah... she's grown up... if you call 5'1 grown up, ha, ha.
Besides turning into my sexual fantasy, Soleil did quite a bit in the 90's. In about 1993 Soleil's breasts were so big that kids called her Punky "boobster".

Relax perverts! She was only about 16 in these pictures. Unfortunately she had a breast reduction because her breast were so huge they were giving her back problems. She went from about a 36DD to a 34C. The sad truth is that she would have gotten much more work if she'd have dealt with the back problems like Dolly Pardon did.

Anyway, in the 90's she directed Wild Horses (which she co-wrote with her brother), she took to the stage in The Housekeeper and Orestes, I Murdered My Mother and she took a role in the sit com, Friends. I don't feel she has gotten the respect she deserves in Hollywood (if she'd kept her breasts she definitely would NOT have gotten the respect she deserves). But I also think she will get another break out role to surpass the cult fame of Punky Brewster. Since she is not a quiter, I'm sure she will find it. In '98 Soleil broke my heart and married Jason Goldberg, who is now the father of her child.
Soleil also went to college and studied sociology. She started a web business called WebStation.com in 2000. This is my kind of woman. She is smart, sexy, and creative. The business did not do well but I'm very impress that she had the guts to try it. And Soleil, if you ever read this, Blogs are the way to go now, just look at Wil Wheaton!
In 2000, Soleil took the role of Roxie King in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. I was surprised to find out that Soleil is the voice of Zoey Howzer on Disney's The Proud Family, which also features two of my favorite comedians, Tommy Davison and Cedric the Entertainer.
Soleil now as a daughter. On August 24, 2005, Poet Goldberg was born.
