Transformers Teaser to debut with Pirates of The Carribean 2

IGN FilmForce has confirmed with sources that the Transformers teaser trailer will most likely debut with the July 7th release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Transformers is slated for release about a year from that weekend (July 4, 2007).

Confirmation has come down the pipeline that Peter Cullen, voice of the original Optimus Prime in the 1980's cartoon The Transformers, has officially auditioned for the new Transformers Movie. Here's hoping he lands the role!

First there were photos of the cars. Now there are action shots from filming. Also: It turns out Bumblebee *will* be a Camaro, not a Beetle. However, Optimus Prime will *not* be a fire truck, but instead and 18 wheeler.

according to a supposedly authentic “leaked” version of the upcoming live-action Transformers movie script, Apple's ubiquitous music player may be making a cameo in the movie. No word yet on whether the device would be an Autobot (good guy) or Decepticon (bad guy)
