Her real name is Cherie Johnson. So she actually played herself which is kind of cool. She went on to have a big part on Family Matters as Maxine Johnson… I believe that was Laura's friend…
There is a conspiracy here. She is always a friend and last name Johnson… what up with that?!
According to IMBD.com she is related to Related to the executive producer of the hit TV series Family Matters, David W. Duclon.
